Sunday AM

So we had a good time last night at Disney on Ice. We sure needed it after this past month. Kaitlynn has had a horrible month. It all started with a phone call from the school that she had messed up her front tooth. Actually messed up is minor thing....a 3/4 broken permanent left front tooth is a better answer. She was playing on the play ground and ran into a metal object. Remember she is just 46lbs. (then). We have spent every week going to Dr Chad to have a tooth rebuilt. PRAISE: No pediatric root canal, the nerve root is intact. That is not normal Dr Chad tells us. GO GOD! Did I mention everyweek. She is limited on biting into anything. She has found a way or two to compensate as now she is 50lbs.

This past week I was called to the school again (they are getting to know me soooo well) because she was having an asthma attack. It was a well controlled minor one, but that prompted us to go to Dr Stephanie. That all leads up this am. I woke to a small body with one large wet cough. And so now we are off to the races so to speak with breathing treatment.

Doesn't she look pitful? She is perked up now, getting ready for church, and driving her momma nuts because her daddy is at work right now. We know that will last for a few hours and then back to bed she will go for the day, of course she will want to watch the Food Court (aka food network) as she calls it.

Hugs

Tormenting Dora and eating a push up popscicle. Ain't life grand!!!! Sounds like something her momma would do!

Good Morning

Good Morning All. I am up early, sometimes I just can't sleep. RIght now it is 53 degrees and supposed to drop to 49 sometime today. I am so glad it is Friday. Whew, bring on the weekend. I work for an orthopedic here in Cleveland and we have been busy. My primary job is a little of this and little of that . Mainly schedule surgeries, precerts, prescription management, bust drug seekers, lots and lots of paper work.
I talked to my commander last night and he is thinking of sending myself and 2 others to Washington for training for AO. Can you see me in Washington......sometimes I crack myself up. I guess a better question is Washington ready for me????

Going to lay back down before the marathon of getting red up for school and me to work begins.

Hugs to you today.

ps if any typos, I am doing this without my glasses. If you know me well enough, something ab out being blind as a bat...you get the pic. : )

Greeting and Salutations

A friend of mine does this and told what a wonderful way to connect with family and friends. Way cool. So, I took bits and pieces of 2 days and here it is. Just like a cracked receptacle, it is not what it will be, when it is done. We have wonderful friends near and far, and miss them so much.

It has been a wildly odd year. Our lives were unexpectedly turned upside down earlier this year and at almost 10 months, are getting much better. I don't say that to hear you say "AAHH", I say that so you can say "GO GOD". We have witnessed miracle after miracle in our lives since then, and yes, we still have struggles. Some of them are tantamount compared to others. We however, are still here, still together, and still ,making the family work.

Rodney, is a paramedic, in McMinn Co. and loving every moment of it. He works 24/48's. Sometimes it is hard to juggle things, since he has many things to take care of when he is home. He hates that "honey do" list, so we renamed it, the "gentle loving nudges".

Kaitlynn, is a 3rd grader, and loving it. We struggle with subtraction of large numbers, but she understands multiplications. Tall and skinny--best way to describe her, she is still 46lbs. Some days she eats bird bites and other days eats us out of house and home. She has long red/blonde hair. I say it that way because if you lift the straight red hair in the back it is blonde and curly. Locks of love is her passion right now, and we fully support her.

I, would love to write more, but can't since K and I overslept and missed Sunday School. Temp here is 45 degrees. My joints HATE it right now, they will adjust later.

Hugs,
Lynnette
